This symposium was about reinterpreting a generation of architects who worked mainly after the Spanish civil war. During two intense days, two generations of architects have discussed the works of the masters: José María Sostres, Miguel Fisac, José Antonio Coderch, Saez de Oiza, Alejandro de la Sota and Antonio Bonet.
The discussions had an innovative format where the architects from two different generations established a dialogue about each of the figures of reference.
Renowned practising architects, as well as prestigious architects in the world of teaching, such as Francisco Alonso de Santos, Federico Correa, José Manuel López Peláez, Josep Llinas, José Puig y Torné, Antonio Armesto, Carmen Díez, or Luis Martínez Santa-María, have exchanged opinions and ideas. This discussion has enabled us to know better the work and lives of people who, within a very specific context, are a reference in the history of architecture.
