this is tomorrow

This international design competition on rethinking today's social housing is an opportunity to reflect on our society and its current housing. Its purpose is to promote new architectural solutions ensuring the adaptation of our spatial, environmental, social and cultural needs to our demands in a realistic way. The objective is to rethink the meaning of the word LIVING and consequently ask and answer questions that are basic for human existence, as suggested in the peak of modernity in 1937 by the artist Óscar Domínguez: “Well, architects, your opinions on reinforced concrete and the future of modern architecture are perfect, but I would like you to tell me where the ghost will live in our houses. Where do you set up the ghost’s room?  Have you ever thought of the homeless ghost’s revenge?
